The TaylorMade R11 Driver is the next revolution in golf club adjustability, combining Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology, Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Moveable Weight Technology (MWT).
The Introduction of Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology allows players the ability to adjust the face angle independently of the loft, which is controlled by Flight Control Technology (FCT). The ASP sole plate provides ±2° of face angle change (neutral/square, 2° open, 2° closed). You can create three lofts with the same face angle, or you can further accentuate a face angle or counter a negative face angle. Plus, the combination of ASP and FCT effectively doubles the range of face angle for the club for ±2° to ±4°. Altogether, the combination of ASP, FCT and MWT gives golfers 48 ways to set up theTaylorMade R11 Driver to promote up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory adjustment, the most of any driver in existence. Combining full FCT and MWT settings promotes a launch-condition range of 2° launch angle and 1,000 RPM. The FCT system is extremely sleek and streamlined, resulting in less mass and a lower clubhead CG location compared to hosel adjustability systems in competitive drivers.
TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood
This fairway wood features a white non-glare crown and black clubface for easier alignment. It also features an Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) which allows the club to sit on the ground precisely the way that fits the player's eye the best. Movable Weight Technology (MWT) allows the player to create either draw-biased or neutral weighting, while Flight Control Technology (FCT) allows the player to adjust the face angle, the lie angle and effective loft by simple shaft/head adjustments with 8 different clubhead positions to choose from. This optimization allows for up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and +/- 1000 RPM backspin change.
