The TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood features a new aerodynamic shape to promote faster speed and more distance off the tee. An adjustable face angle and loft allow you to customize the club to fit your game. A deeper face and front center of gravity allows for more penetrating flight while a white crown and black clubface make alignment easy.

TaylorMade's Flight Control Technology allows you to adjust your R11 Fairway Wood to eight different head positions to launch the ball longer and straighter by changing the face angle, loft and lie angle. I have been in the market for a 3 wood for some time. I tried to decide between the burner superfast and the r11. Current incentives made the two similarly priced with a trade-in. After using this club for a round I would buy the r11 without the incentives. A nice easy swing produced very nice ball flight with good launch. The adjustment allows me to account for my closed position at impact by opening the face to encourage straight flight. This club should not be hit in even short rough, however, as it is requires a fairway lie to compress adequately. Shots in the rough produced repeated pop ups.
