The TaylorMade R11 driver is designed with a new, modern-classical club head shape intended to suit the eye of better players, while still providing forgiveness and confidence for average players. The shape is more contemporary appearance than traditional drivers, and slightly triangular to create a modern yet classical address silhouette. The white crown color and black PVD face provides optimum contrast against the ground to make the R11 easier to aim.
This TaylorMade R11 Driver promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape promotes faster club head speed for more distance, 6 yards longer than the R9 Supertri. Features are in the following; the first one is that it adjusts the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT). The second one is that it adjusts the face angle with the new Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP). Adjust the CG location with Movable Weight Technology (MWT). It promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and +/- 1,000 RPM backspin change. New aerodynamic shape promotes faster speed for more distance. Movable Weight Technology (MWT) allows you to tune the driver's center of gravity to promote a draw or neutral ball flight. Putting the 10-gram weight in the heel and the 1-gram weight in the toe moves the CG closer to the heel to give the R11 a draw-bias, which promotes a right-to-left ball flight. Putting the 1-gram weight is in the heel and the 10-gram weight is in the toe moves the CG toward the toe, making the R11 neutral to promote a neutral or straight ball flight.
