TaylorMade R9 Forged Irons 3-9PS Review

    TaylorMade R9 Forged Irons adopted progressive face thickness and top line as well as the Inverted Cone Technology (ICT). R9 Forged 3 iron to 5 iron is 1.9mm, 6 iron and 7 iron are 2.2mm, 8 iron to AW is 2.3mm and SW is 2.5mm. The use of this design is supposed to increase COR when using long and medium irons and provide comfortable contact feel when using short irons. Another feature of TaylorMade R9 Forged is the progressive clubhead top line design. R9 Forged 3 iron to 7 iron is 8.3mm while 8 iron to S iron is 6.8mm. All of the R9 Forged Irons adopted TaylorMade’s famous ICT. This technology is showed in the inner part of club face, ensuring a higher ball speed on miss-hits and stabilizing the whole face speed and distance at each swing.
